With thousands now sold, the ever popular -20 ( DN 32 ) capacity 550 Super Spiralyt may be regarded as the definitive multi purpose swaging press. Whatever your hydraulic hose assembly needs, from maintenance to agricultural, workshop, mobile or even as a breakdown standby, this versatile machine will provide the solution. The machines can be supplied with either a hand pump as the 550 SUPER SPIRALYT, or as the 550-20 MULTIMODE with air/oil, 12, 110, and 220 volt power pack options. At less than half the weight of many conventional machines, this truly portable machine can be easily moved and operated almost anywhere.
The 550 is supplied with a basic 3 sets of dies, 16, 23 and 29mm, that will allow the hydraulic hose assembly of the most popular hose sizes from -4 to - 16 (DN 6 to DN 25). A bench stand, hose and quick connect coupling are supplied with Multimode versions. Extra standard size dies, one piece flared type and special purpose dies are also available.
Machine operation is simplicity itself. Swage size setting is achieved by adjusting the direct reading micrometer gauge. After ascertaining the required finished diameter, select and place the appropriate dies in the machine, then operate the pump or power pack until gauge setting is reached.
