The new tabletop BS 24 - 40, is probably the most cost effective answer for your maintenance and distributor nut crimping machines requirements around today. These ruggedly constructed nut crimping machines are available in both 4kw x 3ph and 2.2kw x 1ph versions and come complete with 7 sets of standard dies, all kept in a sturdy purpose made toolbox and is suitable for up to most -20 (DN 32) 4SP assemblies. The sealed machine arrives filled with oil and is ready for use.
The "snap in" radially closing dies provide over 30mm clearance when the nut crimping machines dies are fully open, allowing access for most bent stem and other manipulated fittings. Extra dies are available to increase the swaging capacity, allowing the assembly of smaller bore and at the other end of the scale, -24 and -32 (DN 50) wire braid hose assemblies. A wide range of one piece flared type dies and other special purpose dies are also available.
The direct reading micrometer type gauge allows rapid setting of the powerful 80 tonne, double acting fully enclosed ram, that is capable of providing over 300 tonnes when expressed as radial effort on the dies. The push button controls include an automatic stop facility at the preset size. The 24 volt safety control circuit also features a "set size reached" indicator light and an emergency stop button. Each control circuit is separately fused and these are easily accessed via the removable end panel.
To reduce maintenance downtime to a minimum, all the modular "plug in" components including the setting gauge, hydraulic control valve and related solenoids, can be removed for servicing purposes and replaced in minute on these type of nut crimping machines.
